What this site is, technically

Every page here is a file generated in advance and served as it stands. There is no application server, no login, no user account, no comment system, no newsletter and no user database. We do not ask for your name, your email address, your postcode or anything else, and there is no form on this site that submits data to us.

The one address on the site is support@inventum.com.au. If you write to it, that email sits in an ordinary mailbox for as long as it takes to deal with your message and for a reasonable period afterwards, in the way any business holds its correspondence.

The tools do not send anything anywhere

The index re-baser, the coverage-gap calculator and the requirement checker all run entirely in your browser. The data they use is compiled into the page when the site is built, so there is no lookup to make. An amount, a claim figure or a state you type or select is processed on your own device and is never transmitted to us or to anyone else, because there is no endpoint for it to be transmitted to.

Tool inputs are not stored in your browser either, and tool permutations are never minted as crawlable addresses. Closing the tab ends it.

Advertising and measurement

This site is supported by display advertising, which means third-party code does run here. Google AdSense serves the advertisements and may set cookies or read device identifiers to select and measure them, including for personalised advertising where you have consented to it. Google Analytics 4 measures traffic in aggregate so we can see which pages are read and where readers arrive from, and it sets cookies for that purpose. Google Funding Choices provides the consent message where one is required.

We do not sell data, we run no data-management platform, and we operate no advertising technology of our own. What we see in analytics is aggregate: page views, referring sources, countries and devices. Google’s handling of the data it collects through these services is governed by Google’s own privacy terms rather than by ours.

Consent

The site implements Google Consent Mode v2. Its defaults are set to denied for advertising and analytics storage for visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, so no such cookie is set for those visitors before a choice is made, and a consent message is shown so a choice can be made. Signals are updated only when consent is given.

PremiumTally publishes US data for a US audience, so most visitors are outside those regions. Where US state privacy laws apply, the applicable Google consent message is published for those states and the corresponding signals are passed through.

Hosting and server logs

The site is served from a commercial static-hosting and content-delivery provider. Like any web host, it records ordinary request logs, which typically include the requesting address, the page requested, a timestamp and the browser’s user-agent string. Those logs exist to deliver the site and to defend it against abuse. We do not use them to build reader profiles and we do not combine them with anything else.

Your controls

Where a consent message is shown, the choice you make there governs advertising and analytics storage, and it can be changed at any time by reopening the message.

Independently of this site, your browser can block or delete cookies for any site, including this one, and every current browser has a setting for it. Blocking them will not break anything here, because nothing on this site depends on a cookie to function. Google also operates its own ad-settings controls, which turn off personalised advertising across the services that use them, and industry opt-out pages exist for the same purpose.

Changes to this notice

If what the site does changes, this page changes with it, and the change ships in the same build as the thing it describes. There is no separate archive of previous versions; the site’s history lives in its repository.
